Yes, the dashcam can be installed within minutes. You attach it with the suction cup to the windshield and connect it to the cigarette lighter. In the installation video we also show how to neatly hide the cables.
Does the dashcam automatically record as soon as I start driving?
Yes, the camera starts automatically recording as soon as you start the car. You do not have to turn anything on manually.
Does the dashcam also work when the car is turned off?
The GuardianView Pro supports parking mode, which keeps your car protected even while stationary. As soon as you turn off the engine, the dashcam can switch to a smart standby mode that records movements or vibrations.
In this mode, the dashcam consumes very little power and automatically turns off when the battery level gets too low. This prevents your battery from draining, even if your car is parked for an extended period.
Leaving your car parked for a week or even several weeks? No problem. You can optionally manually turn off the dashcam during long-term inactivity, but in most cases, this is not necessary. Thanks to parking mode, you always have evidence in case of damage or vandalism.
Does the dashcam also record sound?
The GuardianView Pro records sound by default while capturing footage. This ensures that you capture not only visual details but also ambient sounds. If you prefer not to record sound, you can easily disable the audio recording through the dashcam settings.
Does the dashcam have night vision?
Yes, the dashcam is equipped with advanced night vision and HDR technology. This gives you a clear image even in the dark or against backlight.
Can I review footage without removing the SD card?
Yes, you can easily review recordings via the screen on the dashcam itself or via the free app on your smartphone (iOS and Android). So you do not have to remove the SD card.
