Yes, as soon as you start the car, the dashcam automatically turns on and immediately starts recording. So you don't have to do anything manually.
Does the dashcam keep recording when the car is turned off?
Yes, as soon as you turn off the car, the VisionEdge automatically switches to smart parking mode. In this mode, the dashcam immediately registers every movement or vibration, even when the engine is completely off.
The camera consumes so little power in this mode that you can safely leave the car parked for more than a week or even several weeks without problems. Thanks to the built-in voltage protection, the dashcam turns itself off if the battery level becomes too low. This way, your car is always ready to start.
Is the VisionEdge easy to install?
Sure. You attach the front camera with a suction cup and the rear camera with the included sticker, completely without drilling or causing damage to your car. In the included installation video, we show you step by step how to connect everything and neatly hide the cables for a clean and unobtrusive result.
Is there an app to replay images on my phone?
Yes, there is a free app available for both iOS and Android with which you can easily review recordings, download them, and adjust settings. Would you rather watch directly on the dashcam itself? That is also possible, thanks to the built-in screen you can view footage directly without using your phone.
Does the dashcam also record sound?
The VisionEdge Dashcam records sound by default while capturing footage. This ensures that you capture not only visual details but also ambient sounds. If you prefer not to record sound, you can easily disable the audio recording through the dashcam settings.
Is this dashcam suitable for all vehicles?
Yes, the VisionEdge is suitable for all vehicles. Whether you drive a passenger car, SUV, or van, this dashcam works flawlessly and fits effortlessly.
Do I have to delete recordings manually?
No, thanks to loop recording, old, unimportant footage is automatically overwritten. Important recordings during impact are immediately secured by the G-sensor. You don't have to worry about it at all and only need to use the dashcam when you want to review something.
Does the dashcam also protect against parking damage or vandalism?
Yes, the parking mode activates automatically upon impact or movement while the car is stationary. This way you always have evidence if something happens.
Does the VisionEdge have night vision?
Yes, thanks to the advanced Starvis sensor and HDR, the dashcam also captures everything in sharp detail in the dark.
